1. No Refunds for Installation Errors

All window tint kits are precision-cut products intended for professional or experienced installation. We do not provide refunds, replacements, or credits for issues that occur during installation, including but not limited to installer error, improper handling, or incorrect application techniques.

Improper installation may result in damage to the film, which is not covered under any warranty or return policy.

2. Replacement Program for Installation Damage

If a tint piece is accidentally damaged during installation, customers may request a replacement for the specific window piece within 45 days of the original purchase date.

Replacement pieces are available at a reduced replacement cost, and shipping fees will apply. This program applies only to the individual damaged piece, not the entire kit.

Replacement requests made after 45 days from purchase may not be eligible.

3. Shipping Damage Claims

Every order is carefully inspected, packaged, and shipped to ensure it arrives in proper condition.

If your order arrives damaged during shipping:

• Inspect the contents immediately upon opening the package
• Take clear photos of the damaged items and packaging
• Contact us promptly with the images

If the damage occurred during transit and is verified, we will replace the affected pieces at no cost.

Failure to report shipping damage promptly may result in the claim being denied.

4. No Warranty for Post-Installation Defects

Once installation has been attempted or completed, Layer One Supplies is not responsible for any defects or issues related to the installation process.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Creases
• Kinks
• Cracks or tears
• Dust contamination
• Air bubbles
• Water bubbles
• Shrink burns
• Under-shrink fingers or distortion

These issues are considered installation-related conditions and are not defects in the product.

5. Custom-Cut Product Policy

All window tint kits sold by Layer One Supplies are custom-cut products specifically designed for the vehicle selected during checkout.

Because these products are cut to order, they are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds once production has begun. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct vehicle year, make, model, and trim are selected when placing an order.

Orders placed with incorrect vehicle information are not eligible for refunds.

6. Installer Responsibility

Window tint film installation requires specialized skill, tools, and experience. While our kits are precision-cut for ease of installation, successful installation depends entirely on the installer.

Layer One Supplies does not guarantee installation success for DIY installers and is not responsible for installation results. Customers who are unfamiliar with window tint installation are strongly encouraged to seek assistance from a professional installer.

Improper installation, film contamination, stretching, creasing, or handling damage is the sole responsibility of the installer.

7. Chargeback & Dispute Policy

By completing a purchase with Layer One Supplies, the customer agrees to contact us first to resolve any order-related concerns before initiating a payment dispute, chargeback, or claim with a credit card provider, bank, or payment processor.

Initiating a chargeback for reasons that violate the terms of this policy—including installation damage, installer error, or dissatisfaction with installation results—may be considered fraudulent misuse of payment protection services.

Layer One Supplies reserves the right to submit this policy, order records, and communication history as evidence in any payment dispute.

8. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with Layer One Supplies, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies outlined above prior to purchase.
