1. No Refunds for Installation Errors
All pre-cut PPF kits are precision-cut products intended for professional or experienced installation.
Layer One Supplies does not provide refunds, replacements, or credits for issues caused during installation. PPF installation requires proper technique, tools, and experience, and any damage caused during installation is not covered under this policy.
Examples of installation-related issues include, but are not limited to:
• Improper stretching
• Misalignment during installation
• Contamination during installation
• Improper surface preparation
• Incorrect installation technique
2. Replacement Program for Installation Damage
If a piece of PPF is accidentally damaged during installation, customers may request a replacement for the specific panel within 45 days of the original purchase date.
Replacement panels may be available at a reduced replacement cost, and shipping charges may apply.
This program applies only to the specific damaged piece, not the entire kit.
Replacement requests submitted after 45 days may not be eligible.
3. Shipping Damage Claims
Every order from Layer One Supplies is carefully inspected, packaged, and shipped to ensure it arrives in proper condition.
If your order arrives damaged during transit:
• Inspect the package immediately after opening
• Take clear photos of the packaging and damaged pieces
• Contact us promptly with the photos
If shipping damage is confirmed, we will replace the affected pieces at no cost.
Failure to report shipping damage within a reasonable timeframe may result in the claim being denied.
4. No Warranty for Post-Installation Defects
Once installation has been attempted or completed, Layer One Supplies is not responsible for installation-related defects.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Stretch marks
• Lift lines
• Dust or contamination under the film
• Air or water bubbles
• Creases or folds
• Adhesion issues caused by improper installation
• Finger lines or tension marks
These issues are considered installation-related conditions and not product defects.
5. Custom-Cut Product Policy
All PPF kits are custom cut based on the vehicle information provided at checkout.
Because these products are cut to order, they are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds once production has begun.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct vehicle year, make, model, trim, and specifications are selected when placing an order.
Orders placed with incorrect vehicle information are not eligible for refunds.
6. Installer Responsibility
Paint Protection Film installation requires specialized tools, knowledge, and experience.
While our pre-cut kits are designed to simplify installation, the final result depends entirely on the installer’s technique and skill.
Layer One Supplies does not guarantee installation success for DIY installers. Customers without PPF installation experience are strongly encouraged to seek assistance from a professional installer.
Improper installation or film handling is the sole responsibility of the installer.
7. Chargeback & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase with Layer One Supplies, the customer agrees to contact us first to resolve any order-related concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank, credit card company, or payment provider.
Chargebacks initiated for reasons that violate this policy—including installation damage or installer error—may be considered misuse of payment protection services.
Layer One Supplies reserves the right to submit this policy, order documentation, and communication records as evidence in any payment dispute.
8. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order with Layer One Supplies, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy prior to purchase.
